Do you supply the props and treats? Yes – I have plenty of treats and props for the dogs, but if you have a favorite costume, toy, or treat please bring it with you.
Where is your studio and do you travel? As of now I do not travel. I have a garage/studio in Locust Grove VA (Lake of the Woods) that has the lights and the backdrop set up. It is a completely closed and safe location for your dogs to roam and explore off-leash.
How many images should I expect? I typically deliver a minimum of 15 fully edited high-resolution images in your gallery (per dog).
How will my images be delivered? I email a gallery and give you a password for unlimited downloads of your final images at no additional cost. Once you download the images, they will be high-resolution images and will be ready for you to print and share wherever you would like.
What is your normal turn-around time for gallery delivery? Typically I deliver the galleries within 3 days after your shoot. Only on some special situations where I send an image out for some high-level photoshopping will it take a bit longer, and you will be notified.
What if you dog doesn’t cooperate? We are very patient, and will work with you and your dog to make the photo shoot a fun and enjoyable experience. If your dog is totally out-of-sorts and responds negatively to the lights and new surroundings you will receive a full refund for that dog.
How long is the photo shoot? Each dog reacts to the new surroundings and lights differently. Usually, the first 5 to 10 minutes of your shoot is just letting your dog sniff around and getting him used to the lights and the new environment. During the first few minutes, your dog will be given treats and praise to help him feel more at-ease. Once your dog is more comfortable, we begin. Normal sessions run about 30 minutes per dog, but I really don’t stop shooting until I know that I have more than enough solid images for your gallery.
How do you handle payment? Right after your shoot I collect payment. We accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Pay or Apple Cash, Credit Cards, Cash, or Check.
